Welcome to Stinson Beach

Laurie December 6, 2019

Seated at the foot of Mount Tamalpais just north of San Francisco, Stinson Beach boasts three miles of sand and surf as well as restaurants, shops, and plentiful lodging options.

Throughout the year, locals and visitors alike take part in a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and surfing.

Our Community Center

The town is also home to a spacious 2,000-square-foot Community Center Hall.

Since 1953, the hall has hosted an array of events:

  • weddings and receptions
  • seminars and conferences
  • musical and theatrical productions
  • gallery shows
  • workshops, classes, and lectures

The Community Center, which is a short walk from the beach and businesses, also features a charming chapel that seats 140 people.

With its grand stone fireplace, lofted wood-beamed ceiling, creek-side patio, modern kitchen, and 25 on-site parking spots, the Stinson Beach Community Center is the ideal choice for your next function.
