The County is developing an Operational Area (OA) Mass Care & Shelter Annex to support a coordinated approach to sheltering and mass care during emergencies.

This meeting will provide an overview of the scope of the Mass Care Annex and the role of shelter site partners that have been identified for potential use as emergency shelter locations.

Law enforcement and fire partners are included in the invitation for situational awareness and coordination.

Meeting objectives:

· Provide an overview of the OA Mass Care Annex development timeline

· Discuss the County’s shelter site selection process

· Review the role of facility owners and expectations for identified shelter sites

· Provide an opportunity for questions and discussion
